30th April & 1st MayWe arrived in Banff yesterday afternoon and were enchanted by the natural beauty of this place. The drive to here was very picturesque and enjoyable. We sighted some deer on the road. We stopped enrote at Kimberley and Radium Hot Springs. Kimberley is a small town built in the Austrian style complete with Mozart Haus and schnitzel restaurants. At Radium Hot Springs we took a dip in the hot springs. We also vsited the Fairmont hot springs. Here in Banff our day was filled with visiting Banff Springs Hotel, The Cve & Basin, The Hoodoos (glacial mineral deposits) and a local nature museum. We shall be off to Kelowna early tomoorow morning. Cheers for now.
