Crossing by ferry to Port Angeles, Olympic Mountain,, Seattle and onwards

We left Victoria early morning for the ferry to cross over to Port Angeles. The check-in by US customs and immigration was as usual very time consuming and after 3 hours of our arrival at the ferry point, we were finally on our way. Arriving Port Angeles we headed straight for the Olympic Mountain. The drive to the Hurricane Ridge , though very picturesque was steep and required all the attention. However the Coquohala Pass on the way to Vancouver still takes the cake. The Hurricane Pass is at 6000 ft and the scenery is breath taking.

After wards we drove on and catching another ferry at Kingston arrived in Vancouver. Visit to the Space Needle and walk in the surrounding area was refreshing. Tired after the long day, we got into our hotel in Bellevue and hit the bed.

We shall be going to the Boeing factory today and then on our way to Spokane WA, our next night stop.

Greetings

Renata & Arun
